Purpose of the data processing
Purpose 1: Administration of your participation in the event co-organised by ICC and ICC Kenya
Purpose 2: Complying with the legal obligation to limit the risk of COVID 19 infection.
Purpose 3: If requested, complying with local obligations, such as security obligations.
Purpose 4: Recording of the event sessions and administration of your right to access to records.
Purpose 5: Post-event evaluation (quality and statistics)
Purpose 6: Communication on the event in the press, on ICC and ICC Kenya websites, in social medias. The publication of photos or videos in publications is regulated by the Terms & Conditions.
Purpose 7: Networking. The participants can directly contact any other participants via the ICC DRS App. The sponsors, if any, are also participants. The contact details of participants are not displayed in ICC DRS App.
Purpose 8: Subject to your specific consent and preferences, ICC and ICC Kenya and sponsors, if applicable, can contact you by email to communicate offers and information related to their activities and their affiliates’ activities. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the correspondence.

Persons concerned
People who want to register on https://8th-icc-africa-conference.icckenya.co.ke/ or on 8th ICC Africa Conference on International Arbitration | ICC Knowledge 2 Go – International Chamber of Commerce (iccwbo.org) registration applications provided by processors. The application gives the identity of the processor.
Categories of recipients of the data
- ICC teams in charge of missions related to the organisation of the event;
- ICC Kenya team in charge of missions related to the organisation of the event;
- ICC departments involved in the administration and accounting tasks;
- Other departments of ICC and ICC Kenya (subject to your consent or for legitimate interest);
- ICC’s data manager team to better orient future editions or to engage with you on future similar services;
- Add event platform, processor, as ticketing
- Public authorities if requested pursuant to local laws related to COVID19 situation.
Non-EU data transfers
ICC will not transfer the data to countries outside the EU, except if:
- required for the organisation or the participation in an event outside the EU related to the event; or
- you consented that ICC communicate images or videos on social medias for information and promotion of the event; or
- you consented that ICC and its affiliates contact you by email to communicate offers and information related to their activities.
Data retention period
The data is kept 3 years from the collect or from your last contact with us.
You will be able to unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link available at the bottom of every correspondence.
Data is kept until the end of the membership for members of ICC.
ICC may retain certain information for a period longer than the retention period mentioned below in order to meet legal obligations. The User’s data will nevertheless be deactivated and will no longer be accessible online.
The data is stored in Europe.

Taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity of your rights and freedoms, ICC has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and alteration.
